Hi, guys! Today we will talk about Proton Scalper Indicator by Oliver Murphy and his Altra Trading Group.
When I got an email from Oliver about the new Proton Scalper Indicator, I was super excited. I really liked what I saw on the website: the concept of the new software, its unique features, the screenshots, the design of the indicator and the video recorded by the developer. All these made me order Proton Scalper the same day.
There were no doubts in my mind because I had good previous experience with another product of Oliver, which I use actively up to this day:

My experience with Proton Scalper Indicator
As I already said in some of my reviews, user experience is very important to me. I don’t like to wait for getting access to the digital products. I like everything to be as convenient and simple as possible and Proton Scalper order meets such requirements. Big Plus for that!
It took me no more than 5 minutes to set everything up on my demo account and about 10 minutes to get the first trade! This is what I like about scalping indicators! The signals are frequent, and you can evaluate the effectiveness of the indicator much faster.
Even though it is very convenient, I am not a big fan of scalping, actually. There are several reasons for that: it requires a lot of time and I am not a full-time trader, I have a job too. In addition to this, my trading account is not suitable for scalping because my broker takes commission for each trade.
However, Proton Scalper Trading Manger allows me to fully automate the trading with the Indicator and save me time, so I got the Full Kit. Here are the available packages of Proton Scalper:
My Results with Proton Scalper Software
As always, I first put the software on several pairs on my demo account. I chose 3 major currency pairs (EUR/USD, GBP/USD and AUD/USD) and M1 and M5 timeframes. After a full day of 100% automated testing I found out that some orders weren’t opened because of the spread, mainly on M1 timeframe. It is a usual thing for not ECN trading accounts.
As for the results, I was in a small plus but if the trades mentioned above had been executed, I would have had a bigger gross profit result.
So, I decided to go live, leave the same three pairs (+ USD/JPY) but switch to M15 timeframe to have all orders taken. As you can see in the screenshot below, the indicator gives more than one signal along the trend which allows increasing the overall profit generated, but sometimes the software gives signals before reversals, for example, this last Sell signal:
Nevertheless, Multiple-win feature did a great job! I After a week of testing I had +4,5% to my balance account and the average winning trade percentage was 72%. I can say for sure that it is a truly great result! Of course, I am going to keep the system. Also, because Oliver Murphy creates quality software, and it deserves appreciation.
Update (August, 25):
After two weeks since I made the purchase, I received an email with the updated version of the Proton Scalper Manager from Oliver. The new version has a new setting for choosing the time to trade. Oliver recommended me to trade mainly during the active NY and London sessions, and he also said that the following pairs had been giving great results for him lately: GBP/AUD, NZD/JPY, USD/CHF, AUD/JPY and EUR/CHF.
I put Proton Scalper software on a new trading account*, set everything up according to the recent recommendations and after a week time saw that the accuracy rate became a bit higher, somewhere around 76%! That’s fantastic! Both the performance and Oliver’s care about the users. I definitely recommend Proton Scalper!
*I forgot to mention that when you get a full Proton Scalper kit, you are able to activate three trading accounts! Very convenient, big plus for that!

Does it repaint?
As I state in my review, Proton Scalper is a non-repainting indicator – and as far as I can see, all the tools from Altra Forex Group are non-repainting as well.
