Hi everyone!
Today we are having a bit unorthodox review for this blog, because it is more about the developer and the vendor of the product, then about the indicator itself.

Spoiler alert: Breakout Titan (the indicator which I am talking about today) is unlikely to be of any value to us, because I can think of only one word to describe it: unremarkable. I didn’t receive any requests to review it, so we can safely say that my audience was uninterested in this release, which to my mind is a fair response – but we are going to dig deeper into it a little later.
Background
Today, this is the paragraph which is of greatest interest to us. The Breakout Titan is being sold by someone signing their promotions as Thomas Richer (how lucky of him to have such a “wealthy” last name). I haven’t heard about him before, haven’t seen him in any communities online – I Googled him and found nothing, not even a single social network page.

And this is easy to explain: there is no “Forex Veteran” by the name of Thomas Richer. The emails from him are sent by well-known Karl Dittmann!
First, I received Breakout Titan promotion to the email address I used to get Karl Dittmann’s software. When I clicked “Unsubscribe” button under Thomas Richer’s latest message, I saw that I was unsubscribing Karl’s newsletter, not Thomas’.

Second, “Thomas” is using the same promotional tactic for his release campaign: one announcement of the upcoming product including a free gift, and then only promotional emails about the new tool.

And last, but not least, I visited the sales page of Breakout Titan itself, and the last vestiges of doubt disappeared – it looks like a twin brother of every other sales page of Karl Dittmann’s products.

*While doing the review I didn’t manage to open any of the Karl’s indicators websites. Probably we have found out the reason.
Why did Karl released a new tool under a new name, and not his own? Maybe he himself feels outdated. For more than 12 years he has been creating trading tools, he hasn’t changed much in his sales and marketing pattern.
I would say that Karl’s figure in the trading world is an ambiguous one. I remember a few years back a lot of people discussed the question of his identity on different platforms and there were quite a few of them saying that it was a scam and he was actually from Russia. His actual page said that it was a pseudonym, and his pictures could be found on stock photos websites. I don’t want to feed those rumors here, since I am not the one who did that research, but I can say that it does seem weird for a person not to have a single new photo taken in 12 years. Let everybody draw their own conclusions.

My experience with Breakout Titan
Since it is still essentially a review on Breakout Titan, let’s move on to discussing the indicator itself. If not for the whole story unfolding the way I described above, I wouldn’t have bought it. The thing is, I didn’t understand how it worked from the descriptions on the website or the screenshots posted there. I think you will back me up here – in our digital age, when there are so many great, intuitive tools, it is unlikely that anyone would want to read into tiny text.

For this review only and because I was outraged by the deception, I purchased this indicator for $97. With the help of the user guide and descriptions on the official website I managed to figure out the way Breakout Titan works, put it on my charts and started to wait for the signals to appear. By the way, the fact that you can’t see previous signals on the chart also does not earn any points to the reliability of the indicator.
My results with Breakout Titan
But let’s talk numbers without bias. Thankfully, I always test new tools on a demo account first, which is a good habit of mine, seeing that 80% of the signals were closed at StopLoss level. After two days of testing I gave up hope to get something out of Breakout Titan and open the dispute on PayPal. Two more days later, and I got my money back.

This is how the first release under the brand name of Thomas Richer went. Surely, I do not recommend Breakout Titan – as well as any future tools, since this is not a story built on trust, and therefore it is doubtful that it would lead to anything worthy of our attention.

Karl Ditman is wellknown scam but this is way too much… bravo for the research!
It’s the most entertaining forex article I have ever read. Thank you, Trent!
Dear Trent, what are your current settings for Cryo Scalper? I was using your inputs successfully for a few weeks but then results got worse, I think it’s because the market has changed recently, after the elections and so on. Did you change the settings for trailing stop?
Hi Paras, I have replied to you via email.
Thanks bro! I hope that you can post a queue of your products that you are going to review.
